Power line communication (PLC) is a interactive communication method utilizing power line as a transmission channel and superposing high frequency signals over a power line. Since lines and electric outlets can be used as they are for PLC, making new wiring unnecessary, it is a reasonable alternative.

You can start communication by simply plugging into an outlet (plug-and-play). A home network can be created from room to room to make it very accessible anywhere in-home. We can send information over a power line by transmitting those waves with differing speed and amplitude together.
